Risk Mitigation is an area which catches attention when we can feel that there is something which is likely to harm our project. Very few Project Managers even experienced planners endeavour to set Project Thresholds at the outset of the project that’s one of the main reasons that risks are realised later than they should have been. It is not about defining them in a software, it is more about having proper Risk Management Plan in place clearly defining Thresholds, issues, risks and what should be done during the project execution phase if it is likely to break a certain Threshold to recover.
